About Me

Professional

I have been part of the financial services industry for the majority of my life. My father was a CPA, and of my seven brothers and sisters, five of us are CPAs. My first few years in financial services after college were as a senior auditor for a public accounting firm. I quickly realized I had a passion for working closely with individuals and small business owners, and after extensive due diligence, I found Northwestern Mutual. I have now been a financial advisor for over 25 years. I am a proud graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Personal

My wife, Deb, and I live in Naperville with our son, daughter, and four-legged furry youngest child, Mason. We love to travel and try to sail the British Virgin Islands or the Florida Keys every spring. In the summers, you can find us cheering on the Chicago Cubs or enjoying wine while listening to live music at Ravinia or the Naperville Last Fling. During the school year, you will often find us in the bleachers cheering on our water polo and swimming superstar. We also have a new passion for hiking, snow-shoeing, and skiing.

You can find us active in neighborhood organizations, and we are proud sponsors of the annual Saybrook Sharks Boys' Swim Invitational. Deb and I have lived in the Chicago suburbs our entire lives and look forward to the many ways we can give back to our community.
