Micky Wright and Northwestern Mutual visit Capitol Hill
OCTOBER 12, 2011 WASHINGTON, D.C. - As a Director on the Board of Northwestern Mutual's Financial Representative Association, Micky Wright, along with other Northwestern Mutual representatives, visited Washington, D.C. They met with representatives from the state of Illinois to provide education on the value of Northwestern Mutual and permanent life insurance. Main points discussed included:
- Insurance products allow Americans to transfer financial risk
- Raising taxes on permanent life insurance would be "penny wise and pound foolish"
- Deferral of tax liability on "inside build-up" is consistent with general taxation principles

Micky Wright speaks to thousands at Annual Meeting
JULY 25, 2011 MILWAUKEE, WI - At the 2011 Northwestern Mutual Annual Meeting, Micky Wright spoke to thousands of attendees as a "Pardon the Idea" main stage speaker. He shared how he uses the newest technology to conduct client meetings and maintain his client relationships. Micky served as Chairman of the Northwestern Mutual Field Systems & Technology Committee for 2010-2011 and is regularly asked to speak about how he and his team use technology in their practice.
